The Objective 

Bluskills were contacted by a small business, who had suffered a security incident. This had caused them to review their security procedures, to assess whether they were fit for purpose. 

Due to budgetary constraints, BluSkills were tasked with designing a service which met their needs and came within budget. 

Our Solution 

BluSkills proposed a number of solutions, which could help the business achieve their aims. This included a completely remote review of their security system, policies and procedures by our highly experienced security consultants. 

Review & Recommendations 

We delivered a remote assessment of the enterprise’s security processes and procedures, identifying any gaps and potential opportunities to improve the existing measures. 

Through our remote review, we were able to recommend a number of improvements. These would give  the client an effective overarching security system focussed on organic continual improvement through its own staff and experiences.  

This methodology means that the organisation can, with limited future support, identify, manage and treat risks in an effective and sustainable manner. 

Engagement  

BluSkills engaged remotely with staff, though online surveys to better understand the needs, roles and concerns of existing staff members. 

GAP analysis  

We conducted a review of all the business’ policies and procedures to identify what was being done well and opportunities for improvement. These findings were fedback both orally and in a formal report. 

Outcomes 

The business was highly satisfied with the service that we delivered, which met their needs and fitted their budget.
